AKHLAQUNA is a QF initiative, introduced by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, to encourage the practice of universal and inclusive moral behavior. The award encourages the community to initiate projects that embody moral values through supporting and empowering the next generation of leaders.

Yes; the submitted projects have to be based in Qatar.

Yes; you can apply for the AKHLAQUNA Award if your project's scope incorporates morals values, even if they are not included in the specified moral values of the year. However, you need to explain in the application form how your project incorporates moral values in a broader sense.

Submission is open to all nationals and residents of Qatar.

Projects are submitted through the AKHLAQUNA website in either English or Arabic.

Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years old.

AKHLAQUNA accepts individual applications strictly between the ages of 15 and 24 years old. However, in group projects only half the group members must be within the specified age range.

Individuals as well as a group of individuals can participate. However, organizations do not fit the requirements of this competition.

If a group of individuals is applying, at least half of them should be within the stated age group.

Each applicant can submit one project only.

Yes, you can apply even if your project reaches a small audience.

The project does not need to be fully developed but should have been operational for at least three months.

Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Cause: What problem is the project trying to solve? Does it directly target an important issue in our society?
- Innovation: Does the project show creative ability and originality in its idea, model, purpose, and execution?
- Reach and Impact: Who are the targeted beneficiaries of the project? Has the project left an impact on its target audience?
- Values: Does the project promote the universal and inclusive moral values chosen for this year?
- Sustainability: Is the project able to grow with little external intervention, or does it rely on donors and funders? Is it scalable?

Three projects are selected by our jury members. The three projects are then made available for public voting through the AKHLAQUNA website. The final winner will be decided based on public voting results and jury scoring.

The AKHLAQUNA Award has no financial reward. If you win, you will have the unique honor to be recognized by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser at Qatar Foundation Convocation, for your efforts in building a society that thrives on moral values.
A video of your project will be displayed at the televised event, and you will have the platform to introduce your project to a bigger and more influential audience. Your project will also be featured on AKHLAQUNA and QF social media platforms and press releases. In addition to that, we will explore opportunities to help you take your project to the next level.

Yes, the organizers ensure that only authorized judges review the application forms and that information about nominees is not released to anyone else without their prior approval.
