About the Initiative
"Akhlaquna" is an initiative launched by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Qatar Foundation, during the Qatar Foundation convocation for the year 2017, emphasizing the interlink between knowledge, education, and good morals, and promoting the message of ethics as a basis for success in all aspects of life.
The initiative sheds light on the comprehensive morals adopted by the Prophet (peace be upon him), such as mercy, tolerance, honesty, generosity, humility, honesty, justice and equality.
The award honors several categories of ethically influential individuals with beneficial initiatives. It is divided into four categories:
- Akhlaquna Junior, designated for ages 7–14
- Youth, for ages 15–18
- Al-SHABAB (individuals and groups), for ages 18–25
- Individual Contributions, for people from Qatar and other Gulf countries, aged 25–45.

Annual Campaign
“Responsibility is Trust” Campaign
This campaign emphasizes that responsibility is trust—one that reflects genuine belonging and noble character. It aims to instill a culture of accountability, encouraging individuals to uphold their responsibilities and strengthen their leadership role in building a cooperative society, especially during times of crisis.
The campaign is inspired by the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him):
“Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock…” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, from Abdullah ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them).
